Pick Me Up

On the 2nd May me and my University went to Pick Me Up in London to view other peoples work to get inspiration. The gallery showing was expensive but it was worth the money. It really opens your eyes to how other people work, what materials they use and techniques. What also helped that the artists were there and you were able to interact with them and get contacts for the future. Here are some pieces of work that caught my eye.

3D JellyFish

At University we have been studding a range of different techniques including 3D sculpture and screen printing. We had to use something from one of our old projects 'Zine' so I chose a Jelly fish.
The sculpture itself have to free stand or hang and actually stay together, it also had to be able to be flat packed. This is my outcome…
